Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and check on how they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop with bleeding-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble, picking up debris like pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking interface that includes a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has several other clever features, such as docks that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to manually refill the mop. You can even use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of a variety of combo robot vacuums that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower cost than many of the competitors.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process can take a while, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and had to flip over to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.
This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
best automatic vacuum has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously dosed with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and was not always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dustbin as well as wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. Eufy's app allows you to control all its functions. It gives a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that lift these pads up when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The docking station functions as an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust and allows for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach all corners of my small apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it can know what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop).
It also has some outstanding standout features, including an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room of your home.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great choice if you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice if you are seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin as well as an additional water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to move between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains faster than other models we've tested.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in smaller spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has good suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
