Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum mop is a great alternative for those who live in flats, since it is able to carry the garbage away in its own bin and uses a smaller docking station. The app lets you set different modes and monitor the cleanliness, plus the mopping function is impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and mopping capabilities are impressive. It can pick pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its tank.

Roomba Combination from iRobot

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It doesn't quite unseat our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which scrubs more and has an app that is easier to use on mobile devices, but it does make an excellent alternative. In our tests it was able to pick up dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, lacking structured light and other technologies like LiDAR, but it did a good job of preventing collisions with furniture and other clutter.

The Combo comes with many of the same features that the J7 Plus has, such as an onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it's not able to set suction power by hand. It's also smaller than the vac-only version and doesn't have a a self-emptying dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for most homes. Its elegant design is also among the best I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of most competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab that opens the onboard bin and a shelf that can store bags that are not in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively new player in the robot vacuum and mop industry has already made its mark with an array of cutting-edge cleaning technologies. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops to scrub floors of dirt. You can also modify the cleaning process of the bot using a variety and mapping options.

Another amazing Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to detect objects that are smaller than its height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is the best in its class in terms of navigation, because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are notorious for hitting furniture and slam into pet faeces, without even noticing however the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using an AI system called Reactive that utilizes twin cameras to detect objects in a room.

Roborock robots also come with numerous convenience features that help reduce day-to-day maintenance, including docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. These remove the need to empty the dustbins manually and wash mops, which makes for a truly hands-off ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its easy-to-use design and lag-free connection to the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

With a variety of cleaning options and advanced mopping features the Hobot Legee is among the top robot vacuums/mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five different technologies to design and create a route that is the most efficient. It can also detect different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with precision.  best rated robot vacuum  can raise it up to 7mm in order to glide across carpets. Smart spray system is able to use just the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving marks.

The Legee is a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It is more advanced, including a flexible D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more effectively than a round model. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro, and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of Cliff detectors, front and back (most robots have only one pair). It also includes Legee SLAM to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 robots.

Unlike most other robots, the Legee has an integrated trash compactor that supports the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop wash station is included and can wash, refill and dries your mop 'cloth. The mop can be used up to six-times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency of emptying the bin.

Karcher RCV 5

Known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a while, and this is their most advanced model. Based on LiDAR technology, it creates maps of your home and can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It can also distinguish between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with the dreaded puddles on your carpet.

Its navigation is excellent, avoiding furniture or rugs with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot can be customized with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules and rooms it is required to clean. It has an 'emergency button' that causes the robot to return home if its power goes out. It can be set to shut off automatically if the threat of storms is imminent.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, despite being hefty at nearly 4kg, it's hardly difficult to maneuver around furniture. Safety features such as a sensor that alerts you to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by parents with small children. After being charged, the device takes only about a couple of hours to charge and the two buttons at the top will blink in green to signal that it is now ready to use.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a machine that is able to combine advanced technology with a low price. It is a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's most popular Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models cannot beat. It utilizes sensors to adjust its settings to different floors and surfaces, as well as detect dirtier areas and ensure that they receive enough attention. It can also move more slowly to avoid damaging furniture or walls.

The device can help you map your home's interior and display it within the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects you'd like the vacuum to stay clear from. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstruction and will avoid getting into it. The device is also equipped with a smart dust bin which alerts you of its fullness so that you can empty the bin at the right time.

The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable choice for those looking to outsource their the chores of daily cleaning. It's a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean your floors without you having to lift a finger. It is designed with a clever layout which increases the cleaning of corners by as much as 60%. It comes with up to 7,000 Pa of suction power as well as RoboSwing arms, and it can be controlled using the app or voice assistants, such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is a stylish, feature-packed robot vacuum and mop. It does an outstanding job of keeping floors clean and tidy. While it's not able to raise its mops on carpets and rugs like the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and taking on mopping tasks with a remarkable speed. It also has a self-emptying bin that provides a good level of suction power, provides many mopping options and can be controlled by a top-quality application that runs on both iOS and Android.

It's a bit smaller than the competition and its main brush is smaller than the majority, but it did a great job of making short work of our test area effortlessly. The rotating brush on the side for edges is a nice feature and, while it couldn't lift dirt from our rugs as well as some of the competitors, it did a very good job overall.

The device can be programmed with individual cleaning parameters for each room. It will then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control using the app, and a range of voice output options will keep you informed about the status of your home robot. Regular updates to the software enhance and increase the performance. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're away from home.
